Cannabis Delivery in MetroWest: Framingham, Natick, Ashland and Nearby Towns

Cannabis delivery in MetroWest, town by town: where delivery is permitted, which towns hold CCC waivers, ZIP codes and tips for suburban addresses. Adults 21+.

MetroWest is where the rules on cannabis delivery get genuinely local. Some towns host cannabis stores, some ban them but still allow delivery, and a few have used a new state option to block delivery entirely. Two neighboring towns can have completely different answers. This guide goes town by town through cannabis delivery in MetroWest and the nearby Route 495 towns we serve, using the Cannabis Control Commission's (CCC) own tracker, and covers what suburban addresses need for a smooth handoff. It's for adults 21 and over.

Key takeaways

  • We deliver to Framingham, Natick, Ashland, Holliston, Sherborn, Franklin, Medway and Millis, plus nearby Wellesley and Waltham.
  • A store ban isn't a delivery ban. Ashland, Sherborn, Holliston and Medway restrict local cannabis businesses but are listed as delivery permitted.
  • Hopkinton, Medfield and Needham are in our delivery area.
  • Waivers last up to two years, renewable in two-year increments, and only towns without retail can request one.
  • Delivery goes only to a residence, and only the person who ordered can receive it.

How delivery works in towns with and without stores

Under Chapter 65 of the Acts of 2026, adult-use delivery is allowed statewide unless a municipality obtains a waiver from the CCC. A few rules shape who can ask:

  • Towns with existing retail cannabis stores can't request a waiver.
  • A delivery ban can't exceed two years, and it can be renewed only in additional two-year increments with the Commission's approval.

That creates three kinds of towns in MetroWest: towns with local cannabis businesses and delivery; towns that restrict local businesses but still allow delivery; and towns that restrict both.

MetroWest delivery status, town by town

This is what the CCC's Municipal Zoning Tracker showed on September 24, 2026:

Town Local cannabis businesses (tracker) Delivery (tracker) Our service
Framingham Zoning in place; license cap Delivery permitted 01701, 01702
Natick Zoning in place Delivery permitted 01760
Ashland Ban in place Delivery permitted 01721
Holliston Zoning in place; retail ban Delivery permitted 01746
Sherborn Ban in place Delivery permitted 01770
Franklin Zoning in place Delivery permitted 02038
Medway Zoning in place; retail ban Delivery permitted 02053
Millis Zoning in place; license cap Delivery permitted 02054

Heading toward Route 128, Wellesley (ban in place on local businesses, delivery permitted) and Waltham (zoning in place, delivery permitted) are in our area too. We also deliver to Hopkinton, Medfield and Needham.

Waivers expire and renew on their own schedule, so the tracker is the place to check a town's current status. If you live in a waiver town, the waiver applies to your address even if you're right on the town line.

What "ban in place" does and doesn't mean

It's easy to assume that a town with no cannabis stores gets no cannabis delivery. Under Chapter 65, the question is whether the town holds a delivery waiver.

Ashland and Sherborn, for example, are listed with a "ban in place" on local cannabis businesses, and both are listed as delivery permitted. Holliston and Medway restrict retail but also allow delivery. For residents, the practical test is simple: check the "Delivery" column on the tracker, or check your address on our delivery areas page.

Suburban addresses: tips for a smooth handoff

Suburban deliveries tend to run into different obstacles from city ones: fewer callboxes, more long driveways, private ways and multi-building complexes.

Houses set back from the road

  • Describe the driveway: shared, gated, or marked by a particular mailbox.
  • Say whether the house number is hard to see from the street.
  • If there's a dog or a gate, mention it.

Apartment and condo complexes

  • Along Route 9 in Framingham and Natick, complexes often spread across several buildings on one address. Put the building and unit in the address line, not just the notes.
  • Include any gate or entry code.

Street names near town lines

  • Add your village or neighborhood (Saxonville, Nobscot, South Natick, Unionville) if your street name also exists nearby.

Places that can't receive delivery

  • Workplaces and shopping centers. Delivery goes to where you live.
  • Campus housing, such as residence halls at Framingham State or Dean College. State rules prohibit delivery to college- or university-designated dormitories or housing.
  • Hotels, motels and bed-and-breakfasts, which are excluded from the definition of residence.

Timing and order rules

Every delivery must be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. local time, and a town can set narrower hours but not wider ones. Our windows are 12–2pm, 2–4pm, 4–6pm, 6–8pm, 8–10pm and 10–11pm Monday to Saturday; 12–2pm through 8–10pm on Sunday, and same-day orders need to be in by 9pm (7pm on Sundays). Our typical time from order to door is 30 minutes to 2 hours; checkout shows what's open for your address.

The same state rules apply in every town:

  • One delivery per consumer per residence per calendar day. Build one complete order, including accessories.
  • Two ounces per order, or the equivalent: 10 grams of active THC in concentrates or 1,000 milligrams of active THC in edibles. See the purchase and possession limits guide.
  • Only you can receive it. The driver views your pre-verified ID and proof of order and checks your signature. Our ID requirements guide explains pre-verification.

When a waiver ends

A delivery waiver isn't permanent. Each one has an expiration date on the tracker, and under Chapter 65 it can be renewed only in two-year increments with the Commission's approval. If a town's waiver lapses without renewal, delivery is permitted there under the statewide default. The menu, lab results and guides stay open to anyone who wants to read them.

The reverse can also happen: a town without retail that allows delivery today could apply for a waiver later. Towns with existing retail cannabis stores can't.

Neighboring areas we serve

If your address is near a town line, one of these pages may help:

A first-order checklist for suburban addresses

  • My town shows Delivery permitted on the CCC tracker and appears on our delivery areas page
  • I'm 21+ with a valid, unexpired government photo ID, pre-verified in my account
  • I'm ordering to my home, not a workplace, campus housing or a hotel
  • My driveway, house number and any gate code are described in the notes
  • Apartment complexes: my building and unit are in the address line
  • I've picked a window I'll be home for

Taxes in MetroWest

Delivered cannabis carries the 10.75% state excise and 6.25% sales tax, plus a local option tax of up to 3% where a city or town has adopted it. The local rate generally follows where the selling licensee is based rather than where you live. Our taxes guide explains the details, and your checkout total shows every line.

Before you order

Check the lab data. Every product page on our menu shows its lab summary from the state tracking system when available: potency, contaminant screens and the test date. The lab results page explains each field. Then browse flower, pre-rolls or edibles. If you're new to edibles, start low, go slow: the impairment effects of edibles may be delayed by two hours or more.

Town status reflects the CCC Municipal Zoning Tracker as of September 24, 2026, and can change. For adults 21+ only.

Frequently asked questions

Which MetroWest towns can get cannabis delivery?

In our area, the CCC's Municipal Zoning Tracker lists delivery as permitted in Framingham, Natick, Ashland, Holliston, Sherborn, Franklin, Medway, Millis and Wellesley, among others. We also deliver to Hopkinton, Medfield and Needham.

My town banned cannabis stores. Can I still get delivery?

Often, yes. A local ban on retail stores isn't the same as a delivery ban. Under Chapter 65 of the Acts of 2026, delivery is allowed statewide unless the town obtains a waiver from the Cannabis Control Commission. Ashland, Sherborn, Holliston and Medway restrict local cannabis businesses but are listed as delivery permitted.

Do you deliver to Hopkinton and Medfield?

Yes. Hopkinton (01748) and Medfield (02052) are in our delivery area, and so is Needham.

How long does a town delivery waiver last?

Under Chapter 65, a delivery ban can't exceed two years and can be renewed only in additional two-year increments with the Commission's approval. Towns with existing retail cannabis stores can't request a waiver.

Can I have my order delivered to my office in Framingham or Natick?

No. Delivery goes only to a residence, meaning a house, condominium or apartment, and only the person who placed the order can receive it.
