Cannabis Delivery Along Route 128: Waltham, Watertown, Belmont and Wellesley

Cannabis delivery along Route 128 in Waltham, Watertown, Belmont and Wellesley: town status, ZIP codes, campus rules, Needham and address tips. 21+.

The towns along Route 128 west of Boston sit side by side but don't all treat cannabis the same way. Waltham and Watertown have zoning for adult-use businesses, Belmont has zoning with a license cap, and Wellesley bans local stores. We deliver to all of them, and to Needham too. This guide covers cannabis delivery in Waltham, Watertown, Belmont and Wellesley: what the state tracker says, which ZIP codes we serve, and the local details that make a handoff go smoothly. It's for adults 21 and over.

Key takeaways

  • We deliver to Waltham, Watertown, Belmont and Wellesley. The CCC tracker lists delivery as permitted in all four.
  • Wellesley bans stores but permits delivery. Those are separate decisions.
  • Needham is in our delivery area too.
  • No offices, labs or campus housing. Delivery goes only to the orderer's residence.
  • You have to be there, with the ID you pre-verified.

Town-by-town status

Here's how the Cannabis Control Commission's (CCC) Municipal Zoning Tracker lists each town as of September 24, 2026:

Town Adult-use establishments Delivery Street ZIPs we serve
Waltham Zoning in place Permitted 02451, 02452, 02453
Watertown Zoning in place; retail license cap Permitted 02472
Belmont Zoning in place; license cap Permitted 02478
Wellesley Ban in place Permitted 02481, 02482

We also deliver to Needham (02492, 02494). Right next door, Newton is also delivery-permitted. Our Cambridge, Somerville and Newton guide covers it in detail.

Waltham

Waltham covers a lot of ground, from downtown and Moody Street by the river to the South Side, Warrendale, the Highlands, Piety Corner and Lakeview.

  • Controlled-entry buildings around Moody Street and the river: include your unit and how the driver should reach you.
  • Big complexes near Route 128 can have several buildings on one street address. Add the building number.
  • Converted mill buildings: say which entrance faces the street you listed.
  • Brandeis and Bentley residence halls aren't eligible addresses. Off-campus apartments are fine if you're 21+.
  • Office parks along 128 aren't eligible. Order to your home.

Watertown

All of 02472 is in our area: Watertown Square, Coolidge Square, East Watertown and the West End.

  • Newer buildings along Arsenal and Pleasant Streets often have secure lobbies and parcel rooms, but a driver can't leave cannabis there. Plan to meet the driver yourself.
  • Multi-building complexes on Arsenal Street can share one street number, so add the building letter or name.
  • Two-family houses are common. Say whether you're the upper or lower unit.
  • Lab and office buildings aren't eligible addresses, even if you'd rather get it at work.

Belmont

Belmont's 02478 covers Belmont Center, Waverley Square, Cushing Square, Payson Park, Belmont Hill and Harvard Lawn.

  • Hillside streets on Belmont Hill can make house numbers hard to spot. A quick note about the house, driveway or gate saves time.
  • Two-families near Cushing and Waverley Squares often have a separate side door for the upstairs unit. Tell the driver which one is yours.
  • Nothing gets left on the porch. The driver checks your ID and signature before handing over the order.

Wellesley

Wellesley bans adult-use establishments, but the CCC tracker lists delivery as permitted. We serve street addresses in 02481 and 02482, including Wellesley Square, Wellesley Hills, Wellesley Farms, Babson Park and Wellesley Lower Falls.

  • 02457 is a PO-box ZIP. Use your street address ZIP instead.
  • Homes set back on wooded lots: describe the driveway, house color or a lamppost in your notes.
  • Wellesley College, Babson and MassBay campus housing aren't eligible delivery addresses.

Rules that apply in every town

  • Residences only: a house, condo or apartment. No workplaces, hotels, college-designated housing or federal public housing.
  • Only the orderer can receive it. The driver verifies your pre-verified government photo ID and takes your signature. The ID requirements guide explains how pre-verification works.
  • One delivery per consumer per residence per calendar day.
  • Two ounces per order, or the equivalent. See the purchase limits guide.
  • Deliveries must be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. A town can set narrower hours but not wider ones.

Timing, fees and taxes

Our windows are 12–2pm, 2–4pm, 4–6pm, 6–8pm, 8–10pm and 10–11pm Monday to Saturday; 12–2pm through 8–10pm on Sunday, and same-day orders need to be in by 9pm (7pm on Sundays). Typical time from order to door is 30 minutes to 2 hours. Checkout shows the windows still open for your address. The minimum order is $50 and the delivery fee is $4.

Every order carries the 10.75% state excise and 6.25% sales tax, plus a local option tax of 3%. The local rate generally follows where the selling licensee is based, not your home town. The taxes guide explains the receipt.

Before you order

  • My address is a street address in one of the ZIPs above, not a PO box
  • It's my home, not an office, lab or campus housing
  • My ID is pre-verified and matches the one I'll show at the door
  • My building, unit, entrance or driveway is in the delivery notes
  • I've picked a window I'll be home for, and my whole order is in one cart

Then check the lab data. Every product page shows the state-tracked lab record for its package when available: potency, contaminant screens and test date. The lab results page explains each field. Browse flower, pre-rolls or concentrates. New to edibles? Start low, go slow: the impairment effects of edibles may be delayed by two hours or more.

Farther west, we also serve Natick and Framingham. The delivery areas page lists every town. Shop the menu. Adults 21+ only.

Town status reflects the CCC Municipal Zoning Tracker as of September 24, 2026, and can change. For adults 21+ only.

Frequently asked questions

Wellesley bans dispensaries. Why can I get delivery there?

Can I get delivery to my office on Route 128?

No. Massachusetts delivery goes only to the customer's residence. Office parks, labs and other workplaces aren't eligible addresses.

Can Brandeis, Bentley, Wellesley College or Babson students order?

Not to campus housing. State rules prohibit delivery to college- or university-designated dormitories or housing. Students 21 and older living off campus can order to that residence.
